The Kool-Aid Man
By Rebecca Rouse
THE KOOL-AID MAN is a new short play by Rebecca Rouse. It premiered in April of 2013 in the Jim G. Lewis Studio Theatre at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. THE KOOL-AID MAN is an expressionist snapshot of a new life being inundated with ideas and different truth systems. It explores the fragility of the mind and how pervasive belief systems are in our lives. THE KOOL-AID MAN asks what are we buying into.
"Treat the other man's faith gently; it is all he has to believe with. His mind was created for his own thoughts, not yours or mine." - Henry S. Haskins
